MeisterSinger presents the Perigraph with new dial. Last year this blue color was introduced together with the Salthora and finds its way into the other models.
MeisterSinger manufactures unusual watches – especially made for people who don’t count the seconds. Besides the single hour hand, the manufacturer’s timepieces are characterized by the meticulous design of the dials, with expressive typography and clearly readable markers.
Last year, MeisterSinger featured bold colors for the first time. The alternating light creates ever-changing shadows that glide across the sunburst blue dials of the No. 03 and the Pangaea, which has made them a great success. The deep blue, with the promise of so many surprises, has proven to be highly compatible with the MeisterSinger wearers’ sense of time. For many it has become a pleasant little ritual to take a moment and allow the light to dance across it.
And for that reason, at the Baselworld MeisterSinger will be presenting blue versions of two further models, of which they are especially proud. Both models have already been awarded prestigious design prizes.
The Perigraph model has also received a Red Dot Award for its excellent product design and was voted “European Watch of the Year” by the international magazine “WatchWorld” in 2012. Its Swiss automatic movement is set in a distinctive stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 millimeters. In addition to the time, the Perigraph displays the date just below the 12. The date ring is entirely open, giving the dial the appearance of greater depth and structuring the play of light on its finely brushed surface. This feature is just as interesting on an anthracite dial as on a white dial – and even more salient in blue.
